Semi-Flexible pushrods that r not affected by tempurature?
Does any one know of any decent semi-flexible pushrods that are not affected by tempurature? My first thought was the sulivan precision but they discontinued them...

What is my favourite now is the system Top Flite use in their gold edition kits.
I use the blue Sullivan golden rod outer tubes & run piano wire pushrods through them.
About every 4 inches I glue a 1/2 inch length of the yellow inner pushrod over the piano wire.
I also glue some yellow inner over where the wire exits the tube at each end. The inner tube
acts as a bearing for the wire & it's almost unbelievably free running. If there's any temperature
creep I can't detect it.
On the control horn end of the wire I solder the steel 4-40 threaded adapters to connect to the
control horns. The threaded couplings are small enough to slide through the blue tubing so the
pushrods can be removed. - John.

I have to agree with Boomerang. The metal pushrods are the way to go and they can be bought for about the same price. They do have a metal cable that slides in the plastic tubes, which I use for almost all my throttle pushrods and sometimes my nose wheels, but the plastic tube needs to be really well anchored down to the plane or it will flex. Good Luck, Dave
