Hi All,

If you go to Youtube and enter galloping ghost there are so videos of the kolm model flying. It sounds really good and looks fast. Last I knew the four cylinder was still in development according to the Kolm website but, that was a few months ago. If it is available, it will be at a premium price point.

The original 3cyl version has to be one of the best sounding piston RC planes ever made, I can't imagine what the 4cyl version will sound like.  I would love to hear there 50cc single as well.  No prices listed on vogelsag, guess if you have to ask... Either way amazing engine and gorgeous aircraft.  Long live the Ghost!

I'm thinking that for a hand built jewel you'll need to pay a premium price. You have the economies of scale working against low prices too..

Id LOVE to know the dimensions from Crank shaft to Top of cylinder for the 65..can't find it any where.

Hello,
I am the designer/ builder and I am working in collaboration with Kolm to produce these reductions. I will have all performance data and tech info available after testing the protoytpe in the next few weeks.

I have a Kolm 65 and would be very interested in a gear as it solves the problem with the height of this engine.

I was thinking of the geared adaptor, good idea!. If you can fit the engine in say 240mm space that would work for me.

The idea is to put this engine in my Sis-T FW190A and keep it completely enclosed.

For me it's SiSt A or D. I have an A with a Zenoah 45 and a lot of led in the nose or a D9 that I bought last year.
I am also interrested to find out what propeller size it can support.

How does the A fly with the G-45?
I have a Saito 300 twin glow. I haven't flown it yet. Just worried about the power.

It flies great, but i weights 14kg and 1kg is lead so more power in stead of lead would be nice.
Then I could move the 45 to my D9 that because of its longer nose do not need a lot of lead up front and will end up around 12 kg.

Yes john can you strip the engine and measure the crank journal size please?just kidding.Not much info on the engine cradle is it an extra,looks like mild steel with carbon fibre gussets??
