The ignitions are made for 4.8 volts. 6 volts is ok, but anything more is pushing it. That's why people using packs that have much over 6 volts, especially when freshly charged, use a diode, resistor, or regulator to drop the voltage.

So then yes I screwed up. I'm living in Egypt at the moment so how can I repair the ignition module myself without sending it back to DA? I will have to buy a new one anyway so I might as well try to fix it myself. Living in egypt means that it almost imposible to order new part because of the lack is postal systems here and it takes months. Is it possible to fix it myself???

Probably not, I doubt they would fix it, they would send you a new one.

I burnt one up and replaced it with an RCExcel but it has to be re-timed if you go that route.
