exceed hyper buggy/hpi rs4 compatability
I just noticed that the chassis plates look very close to if not the same, differential cases look same, the whole upright assembly (front axle C and hubs look the same). has anyone tried any of the rs4 or rs4 mt/mt2 parts? im about to buy the front upright set from the LHS and see if they are the same (only $6.59).

I can't say if it'll work or not since I haven't tried the parts myself. Some parts of the on the Hyper Speed and the RS4 do look alike.

Well I broke the front right C, the LHS had rs4 upright assemblies (C's and axle carrier) in stock for $5.00 so after looking at the similarities bought them. They are VERY similar except for the outer bearing outside diameter (1mm larger) and pivot bushings (slightly loose). Aside from that, not too different. Payday I am buying the lower arms, cv axles, pivot bushings to see if they will fit.

The lower arms fit the stock pivots just fine, the rs4 mt2 g3.0 arms are about 1" wider track width total so it will require longer dogbones/axles. I made a new chassis plate thats wider too so i can put the battery lower, and ordered a rc4wd hardcore short course solid rear axle and lower links so this thing should handle a lot nicer!

So if anyone wanted to increase track width/stability/increase travel you can get the lower/upper arms and shock bulkheads/axles its not too expensive.
