Great find at a RC modeler's show in Dayton
While I was walking around at a show in Dayton today, I found something that got my attention BIG TIME..
A solid white Phase 3 U-2!!!
It was marked as RTF - sure enough the battery and the RX was there so for $65 I took it home.
Hooked everything up and charged the battery and it binded right away.. so now I own 2 of these EDF jets!!
painting it black for now but a Silver and black or all Silver setup...
What a lucky find today!
Mark

How bad did you crash it?
My black and Silver has crashed about 4 times but I put it back together and it's ready to go again :-)
trust me when I said crashed... the nose was totally off the jet in 3 pieces... and it was before I learned how to fly a jet like this that uses Ailerons w/ no rudder.
The fact I was use to flying parkflyers did not help either I "tried" to fly it like a parkflyer with bad results!!!!

Similar damage like yours...nose in 3 pieces. It's repairable with some effort. 180 degree water to re-form a couple of pieces and some epoxy.

I found that Loctite makes a super Glue that is foam safe blue and black bottle..and cost much less than the "Foam safe" glue in the Hobby shops.
Loctite - $3.49
Foam safe CA = $10
makes you go with Loctite very quickly.

Thanks for the "tip"! BTW, with EPO foam ONLY, even regular CA is fine. 'Bout the only thing Expanded Poly Olfin does not like is excessive heat and flame! You can even wipe in down for painting with lacquer thinner! Olfin is the fiber used in many heavy duty carpets.
