Default 1st Nitro TRF801X

Below is my first RCbuild since tamiya 1/10 elec buggies 25 years ago. I've read most of the FAQs and "read this first"info from the forums re:break in , tuning, etc.
If anyone wants to list some familiar rookie mistakes to avoid (other than getting competition kit for first nitro) that would be great.

Nice looking buggy.
If is your first nitro engine then I recommend reading as many break-in, tuning articles as possible...and be patient as it can be a steep learning curve.
Check your radio/failsafe/batterys are all set/charged properly and every nut/bolt/screw is tight.
Other than that, go and have some fun.

Hi Micahel,

Beautiful looking Tamiya you have there.
How does the OFNA force .32 run on this vehicle?

I am waiting for my TRF 801x kit to arrive and im thinking of installing the same engine.
