Default Sanders and Buffers; What do you use?

What are you guys using to wet sand, buff/compound and polish a new clear coat finish?

All sanding by hand, 1000 through 3000. Full size machine is a Dewalt, variable speed run at the lowest setting. Chicago Pneumatic 7200P air polisher for smaller stuff. 3M foam pads for compound and polish.

Norton 800, 1000 and 2000 by hand, then Craftsman 6" buffing wheel with 3M Perfect It to finish.
