Default Jets & DX18 Tx

How are you setting up your throttle trim on a turbine using a DX18 (not the QQ edition)?

I assume you are not using the digital trim....?

I ordered a DX18 yesterday and started thinking about this late last night.

Thx,
Steve

I use the throttle trim and up the value to 10. Works fine for me.

This is what I use now. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_11..._1/key_/tm.htm , go to post 24. With this you get full trim in 2 clicks.
I used to use the left slider

Wy ther is no version with slider trim for jet pilots hello horizon ,at least have replacing kit for the d x 18 to replace the digital to slider type then we don't waste one extra Chanel for trim .

That will be on the next special edtion version for what ever the market will pay. For me I'm staying with my JR12X until it does not work.

I have been using the left side slider trim for the throttle kill on my DX18 without any problems at all.

Thanks for the replies, very good options!

Ron, I almost bought a 12x, I think it is one fine radio but a little behind with no SD card and still a NiMh battery. The only problem I had was that I'm thinking JR has to be coming with a new Tx soon, maybe 14 or 18 channel... When they do that is what I want so I had a hard time spending the $1200 when I may be replacing it in the near future. The DX18 will handle what I need and if a lose a few bucks when the new top shelf JR comes out so be it.
