heres my jeep iv been workin on
copy and paste from my rcc build thread
i got a couple new bright tj bodies in a trade, i was just gonna flip em, but ended up finding a cc01 roller cheap and decided to build one. this start as a no direction build, i just started cutting the body and building a cage for it. so far its turning out ok
some 3/16th steel tube
interior just stuck in with a TSC tool box
my roller showed up, now for some trimming and modding to make everything fit right
some servo clearance
front of the chassis got to go
this is a mess

RE: heres my jeep iv been workin on
a few more pics
cut the tool box to sit down in the hole in the chassis and started on some filler panels around the bed area. not very good with styrene but paint covers ugly to a point"thumbsup"
and got a set of rc4wd prowler xs tires on the way. plan to keep the mesh jeep wheels if i can
i think im gonna leave the body black with the faded spots on it

RE: heres my jeep iv been workin on
had a few goodies show up in the mail yesterday
universals,a little shaving and a gpm steering kit. the steering kit needed some help, so i cut up a tin can lid and made some tiny shims to fit inside the top arm on the bellcrack, got rid of most all the slop.
a winch
and a light kit
