Default FEJ F-14 VF32

Hey Guys,

Thought i would share pics of my new f-14 from FEJ. As you can see by the pics the boxes got pretty beat up during shipping but the jet was not damage. . There are a few changes from my first one (RIP). The biggest change is the elevator is direct drive. The other changes are the wood pieces over the honeycomb area ex. in the tail part where you screw in the servo.

Looking forward to seeing the tomcat when it's completed. Can you post a pic of your elevator mechanism?

Wap:

Your F14 looks good, also you have this lights on, see photo.

My F14 elevators are directly drive same like yours.

PS: We are working on a bigger F14 which is 300CM long (118 inches) with more detail as D version etc. I will try to have one for KY jet if possible.

Thanks

James

Dubd:

It will be very easy to install elevators, less slop and lighter, buty stay stronger.

For bigger F14 we are working on, elevators and fins will be removalbe for transportation. Easy to put them on or remove them at field too.

Thanks

James

Is there a problem with the older system? Do you recommend that I retrofit to new design?

There is not thing wrong with old one. You do not have to change since you have it already.

Thanks

Wap,

As a matter of interest, how long did you have to wait to get yours. I ordered a F14 20 weeks ago and am still waiting.

@johnls- i waited for awhile longer than 20 weeks but i was in no hurry as i told james when i placed my order.  As you can see i have the lights installed and it was not one of the normal paint schemes.   it's well worth the wait.

@james-the big f-14 should be awesome.  i need the a-10 first, the big one then f35.

James, do you sell the light kit separately? I would like to add it to my F-14. See you at BITW!

Wap:

Company is designing a bigger A10 for 300cm (118 inches long) too. I know you like big and it will be big enough for you this one.

Hey James does the lighting kit I got with the F-15 have any lens? I was just wonder since the one I got was just the lights and a control box no lens covers.

Hey Wap so your F-14 has the new style elevator with no bearing on the elevator shaft? Thats the new design the put on the f-16s

Not to hijack the thread... but since we are on the subject: All the new 1/7th F14's and F15's have the direct drive?

Wap what size is that F15 you showed with direct drive?
