Default Grumman F9F-8 Cougar

Hey

I'm starting my first steps in building Grumman F9F-8 Cougar 1:6 scale model. This is my first plane to build. I'm sure I would need some help of experienced people.

I have many questions about the assembly of the model and where to start !

I'm looking for someone who have built this model before

The first DF plane I ever saw was one, and my dad worked on the real ones. Is this a Jet Hangar one or scratch? What is powering it?

First RC airplane you've ever built, you choose a jet, from scratch, with a turbine, and literally no information on who's design... this should be interesting.

I'm with him, I think you might want to start with something a little less complex, get some building skills built up and then go for it.

I was an RC flight instructor for almost 20 years at my old club, got tired of new fliers wanting to fly a P-51 or similar as their first plane. It was a bad choice and always lead to disappointment and usually the guy dropping out of the sport.

Not trying to put a damper on your enthusiasm, trying to ensure your future success.
