Default Traxxas XL 2.5 wire loose

One of the wires on my son's traxxas has come off. I don't want to buy a whole new unit, could it be effectively soldered? I checked internally and it doesn't look like it can just be replaced.

Here is a picture

Thanks in advance

Your in the airplane section of RCU. You'll get faster help in the car section. But to give you a quick answer, yes buy a set of Traxxas plugs and solder one back on. Dennis

Like he said, all you gotta do is go to your local hobby shop and Buy a male traxxas connector and just resolder the one that fell out and remove the one still attached to that connector and just re solder the both of them on the new one. The new one will have the leads out of the plastic so you can solder the wire to them then slide them into the plastic and they lock in for good...hope this helps...Goodluck
