RE: Composite Arf Mig 29
HI Walter,
I have not flown my Mig 29 yet but here is the info I received from Marc Froehn who has flown his mig many times and at Jet Power......
"Regarding the control throws, I do fly my Mig with the Tailerons only using the Delta-mixing of the transmitter, the ailerons in the wings are not functional at all.
For elevator I have a travel of 80mm up and 60mm down measured at the trailing link tip of the root of the stab surface.
For aileron I have reduced the travel to 60% using the dual rate.
For both, aileron and Elevator I have 40% Expo.
Rudder I have 45mm in both directions and 25% Expo
Flaps and Slads I always deploy together. For Landing configuration the Slads go about 10mm down, the Flaps about 50mm.
For take of configuration I do about half of that."
For c of g.....see picture below
Hope that helps! Info regarding this model is as rare as rocking horse *****! For the chute, you could contact Dan at Details for Scale. I am sure he would have something suitable.

Starting with Post 83 of this thread shows how I made the ailerons functional on the Mig 29 as well.
Everything about the airplane is a major task, without question the worst kit I've ever seen.

Thankyou,Craig B and Mario.
Trying to get as much info as I can. Will be home on Friday.Want to start going over everything.I wish I had a manual and indenums if any.I would like any extra parts I could find.Glad I held out and bought this jet instead of Jet Legend.I was getting desperate.I also have a Top Gun Mig 29.It is sport scale for turbine.Any info on parts and manual will be greatly apreciated. Thanks again guys.

Walter
