Problem JetCentral Rhinno!!!
Hello Guys,
I need some help!!
I have a MB-339 and did 3 flights today, the first flight was normal, already starting the second flight when I was preparing for landing when the timer has 6 minutes downwind leg turbine erased. This also occurred in the next flight.
What can it be?? Already checked the fuel filter and it is clean, ja looked cables that go from the turbine to the ECU.
Help me!!
Tks

Erased = shutdown?
If the turbine started back up without issues and then quit again at approximently the same time on the 3rd flight I would suspect a problem in the fuel tanks themselves. perhaps the clunk tube has slipped off inside the tank. I've got a rhino myself that has 24+hours on it (need to send it for checkup) and and the only time it has had an issue was traced back to my tank plumbing and not the turbine itself.
Let us know
take care

Hi Bruno, give a call to Michel Gonchorovski from Curitiba, as he is the jet central dealer for Brazil. He can resolve any JC related problem you may have.
best regards, Enrique.

Bruno,
The fact that the shutdown's occurred at the same time point would indicate a fuel flow problem towards the end of the tank volume . If you have multiple tanks, it could be that the final tank is not being completely drained of fuel.

I did have a similar problem a couple of years ago in my MB-339 equipped with a Rhino.
The fuel hose in the main tank hardened and wasnt able to move around, so it got stuck in the upper pat of the tank. The plane would fly for five or six minutes but afterwards it would shut down (when the auxiliary tanks were empty and fuel would start coming out from the main tank).
Does somebody in you club has a USB interface that can lend you so that you can connect the ICS to a computer ? That could allow you to have more detailed information.
Good luck and hopefully Michel can help you.

It may be that, because the turbine before flights yesterday, it was working perfectly with no stop in flight. I'll check the hose from the main tank is well positioned because the timer on my flight and 6 minutes and and when I come this time landing the turbine stopped, the two flights I did.

Possible issue to check.
Also please check all your fuel filters, if you have algae / dirt in your filters it sometimes will let you run for almost a whole flight and as the filter gets more clogged it will eventualy quit.
Then some of the particles will fall out again and your engine can seem normal for 6 min or so then quit again it near the end of the flight, if this is the issue.
This type of failure usally does not have white smoke/vapor however.
