Default Is the Savage Flux XS actually small?

Hey guys. So I'm thinking of getting the savage flux XS since I can't really afford the Savage Flux HP yet, and would like to know, is it actually mini? I mean I would like it to be larger than a 1/16 scale car, and be more near a 1/10 scale in size. So is it actually "mini"? By the pictures it looks pretty small, and I looked at the specs, but I'm not really that good at getting a feel for how big it is just by specs...maybe if someone has a side by side comparison picture?

It does use 1/10 parts... which is cool, If you get one ditch the stock tires and add a wheelie bar and the sway-bar kit, Makes it much more drive-able on 3s.

Would 1/10 short course wheels and tires be a good choice? I figure becasue of their realtively large diameter, variety of tread patterns and that they are meant for racing then they would do an admirable job on the XS.

I can't really say never thought of using them, I can tell you the day I took the stock tires off and put on Pro-Line DirtWorks it was like a whole new truck.
