Hi Joe
I know your on the total opposite side of the country but if you could swing to Florida jets that would be great. Im about hour and a half away. What venues do you usually hit?

RE: New CGRCjets super scale A-10
Hi Chris,
I've been involved with EDF's for a few years but only just semi-retired so I am now able to travel to the shows I've been reading about. I've attended "Jets over Widbey" which is a small local venue and other regional 3D centric "Huckfest" events which have limited jet activity. I'm usually one of only half a dozen who will fly jets at this event but last year was unique in that 2 turbines pilots also showed up. So I don't know much yet. I had fixated on EJets because it seemed the most EDF friendly but I've also heard some good things about Kentucky Jets, but don't know very much. Florida is a little too far for my first out of state travel to a show. Maybe after I get a couple under my belt we might take a trip to visit my wife's sister in Florida at the opportune time.

RE: New CGRCjets super scale A-10
Hi Guys. Sorry for the lack of updates but thought i would let you know that im still working on the A-10. My apologies for those who are waiting on me but i will ensure you a highly detailed kit. Ive had just about everything try to come between me and the completion of the new A-10, its been very crazy.
Heres a few pics of the updates. At this point, im about ready to throw up at the site of another rivet. Fortunately i have very few left to do. Most of theses pics were in the process of putting rivets on so it does not show the extent of rivets. All the panels and latches on the top and bottom sides had to be drawn up in cad and then stenciles machined out for scribing. Very tedious!

If i had enough orders for a 14 ft span, i would do it. I just dont think there is enough interest but i would be up for the challenge. As for now, i plan on doing a 1/7 scale in the future. Would be easier to detail and now that the mass hours of cad is all done ,all i would have to do is scale everything it up.
thanks

Julie graham. Im way more stressed than she is. Im glad shes been staying calm through all this. Good thing is, she has not been getting dizzy but her heart is non stop under 50 to over 100 bpm. and very eratic behavior skipping beats and stopping. She says she feels mostly fine but the machines are going crazy. We've been sitting for days with no answer. Thanks for the prayer Joe.
thanks

Chris,
Sounds allot like what my wife was going through over the past few years. After 12 ER visits and one hospital stay, the Dr's couldnt figure out anything. Then she had a visit to a nurse practitioner who diagnosed who with panic attacks and anxiety. 3 years later and some meds and she's doing fine. All of this started when she was just 23!

Hi Thomas
This is not from stress or anxiety unfortunately. I have always had heart arythmias from that myself sometimes worse than others. She has never had any palpitations. They think it may be congenital. Her heart arythmias last for half hour at a time non stop. Up and down behavior. She has never used any substances that could cause this. She refuses to take any medications, does not smoke, no caffiene. Only thing she drinks is water. Just out of the blue and been getting worse each day. Episodes are lasting longer and longer.
Im heading out but i will catch up with you guys later.
thanks

RE: New CGRCjets super scale A-10
Thanks Guys!
Well , after 2 heart operations my wife is back home and seems to be doing good. Thankfully! She was short circuting in two areas of her heart. First operation did not work because they could not pinpoint the areas because of the sedative. She had to go back in the next day for over 5 hours without hardly any sedative. She said she felt like she was taken by aliens and was being tortured. Very painful i would think. She has another spot on the outside of her heart that is a whole nother procedure. Were hoping that it will fix itself by the time we go back for checkup in 2 weeks. The electrophysiologist said he has only seen 3 people like this out of the thousands of procedures hes done. It was in an unusual area in the heart which made it more difficult. Cross our fingers.
Anyways, been finishing up the pylons over the last couple days. I wanted to map out where the pylons go under the wing to make one easier step for the build. Unfortunately had to get these cut out for placement and make sure everything would fit up nicely. I will be adding more detail to these later down the line. Right now, i just want to get these wings molded up and this is the last step before molding.
I was going to have these 3d printed to try and save some time, but $2000 later i decided to do them myself. Only about 2 days of work at this point.
Pics wont post. I will try later.

Its getting close. Still have the capability to make the old version but i think it would be worth the wait for the new one. John weaver from hobby wherehouse in San Diego might have a few of the old version but not sure as i have not talked to him in awhile.
thanks
