prop help
I have a 2848 2580kv motor 120amp esc on the exceed sword running 2s and need a prop have the stock on and think its a 430 right now but not much speed. Thank you

RE: prop help
That is a pretty low rpm setup spinning around 17,000 rpm on 2S. The boat is designed to use 3S, that will be much faster. For 2S you need more motor Kv to go much faster. Stock prop is an x432/3 equivalent. An x632 would be faster.

RE: prop help
Offshore have what I want, but I'll be damned If I'll pay $30 shipping for 3 small plastic props. We send similar sized articles to the states and it only costs $6.
Anyone without rude shipping costs?

RE: prop help
Horracing had the props, and they were the cheapest I've seen, and the postage was under $3. Dunno if I believe the 5 days to get here tho.
Thank you Martno1fan and Almaidah, you guys rock!

Brrapp.
If you want to buy gear in Australia. R/C Boat Bitz is a good place to go. Joe is good to deal with. His prices may seem a bit high on some things but you must bear in mind, he's paid all the freight & import duties etc already.

With Offshore, we always make up an order to just under 200 bucks worth of gear so the $30.00 freight is spread over more gear. It's not so bad that way.
Cheers.

RE: prop help
RCBoatBitz doesn't have the sizes I'm after in plastic, and I don't want to pay $30 each only for testing. I will probably get my metals from them once I know what size I'll use.

RE: prop help
Ok, try hobbyking. I have the blue 31mm and 34mm and the props are wider blade and for the 1/8" drive, just use a brass tubing cutthe lenght to 5/16 long and slide into core of blue prop and onto shaft. No need to balance or sharpen. Get a few of them to try and go from there. Hope this helps. The sizes you typed are alittle flimsy. Try the blue 31mm first as you are close to HK. Brass tubing is 1/8". Tubing comes in 12" pieces.

RE: prop help
Thanx Mike
I've got a couple comming from Horracing.
The boat comes with a 1.4x30mm so don't know how big I can go yet. Still very new to this so untill I get some sort of benchmark, I'll be conservative.
