Webesnag

If you want to use electric retracts I installed a set of E-Flite 25-46 90 mains and a 105deg nose retract in the 52" Bronco. They have held up great got about 30 flights on them with no problems.

ORIGINAL: WEBESNAG

Ron,
I tried to open it and it opened for me.
That's for the 52'' Bronco.
Anybody know anyone selling retracts for the 52''?

So, I was finally able to join the rest of the 80" Bronco crowd. picked up a scratch built version last night.

YS .91's for power and Robart retracts. Man its big, hard to move it around my shop and not hit anything with that wing!

Needs a little TLC but it seems built well.

Ill post a few pictures after work.

Cool part is, it's the same scheme as my 52" version! White/red Fire colors...

I know some of us were getting ready to form some molds for canopies. I happened to catch Rich at Monster Planes this past weekend and he has all the plastic parts back in stock. You can give him a call to place a order. Sure saved me as I was very close to going through the process of creating a mold. I have no idea what the prices are but he said he was happy with the quality so I guess thats the important part. Its been a long road for him to find another supplier, hopefully this one hangs around for a long time! Jerry.

snortnrun,

Were you able to get in touch with Rich? I tried calling and email but never got a reply. If so, how much were the parts?

Checked my messages, couldn't find anything from you. Canopies are $40, including domestic S&H.

Aeroscale,

What is the best method to contact you to order the canopy?

Need a few pilots for my 80" version as the models in it just don't look correct (they would pass for stewardess' though!)

Something inexpensive of course!

Thanks,
Bill S.

I bought some cheap action figures from a local discount store. Cut the bottoms off and glued in place. The helmets came from an Ebay seller. Can't get a photo to load, sorry.

Local store is what I was thinking. I can fit the full body so no cutting required.

just need to find two with a useable uniform...

Very nice.

i still need to search for some cheap pilots for mine and fly the engines in something a bit individually before the big one goes in the air.

Too much keeps getting in the way!

I was wondering if one of your guys happen to have a contact to get a set of decals for the 81" bird. Jerry.

Hey Guys
I don't want to change the subject, but anyone had any dealings with Rich recently? I ordered some parts for my small Bronco over two months ago and have not received them yet. I have sent two emails and have not received an answer. I tried calling the phone number on his web site but it is no longer in service. Just wondering if there is something going on that I should know about?
Thanks
Ron
