Default Question about helicopter responsiveness

Hello, someone bought me a toy IR helicopter as kind of a joke. Its the kind with the opposite rotating blades. I noticed that there is a significant delayed reaction in the response for the stearing. Is that also true for the lower priced hobby grade helis with radio control and yaw, pitch and roll control?

Default RE: Question about helicopter responsiveness

you will find generally but not always with the lower priced models that the reaction time from the control input to the machine moving is slower because it gives the (new) user time to react to the machine moving and they won't get into a mess quite so quickly! as you progress in the hobby you will quickly start to get frustrated at the lag and lack of response and then progress onto more expensive and faster reacting models!
