Mike,
Looks like you are going to have a great turnout for your Spring Race. My caller Mr.Chin of Double Chin Inustries tried to sign us up on you web site, but access was denied. Mr. Chin has had this problem on other sites. Please sign me up for 422.

Shorty Gauge-422
Caller-Mr.Chin

If Mr.Chin is unable to enter the USA Robert K. Rau will be my caller.

Mr.Chin said to say hello to you Mabel and the Boys. (Especially Steven)

Regards, Shorty Gauge

Pantyhose, North Carolina. Not the best place in the world, but right next to it!

Yep, bringing old Shorty Gauge for 424. Still trying to get it set up. Just can't break 60 seconds in 10 laps on the long course!!! Vicman, thanks for the help. 2 stock head gaskets on the TT 40 ready did make her run different!!

Barry,

There will be a Wam Bop there this year. I have one that I test flew this week. I don't know how fast it is but I don't think I will be much of a threat. My flying needs to get better first. See you there.

Hi Marshall, I have 4 WB kits and last year Bob's WB, I was calling for him, was really fast.  I thought it was one of the fastest there if not the fastest.

I am glad you will be there.  I will bring the WB I am building now as I have questions.

Well Dale, are you practicing enough.  You should be putting in 6-10 practice heats/day till it is time to go to OJA.  Make sure everything is completely worn out, I mean worn in so you are ready to race.

Well, if you don't have a radar gun you will probably pick the slower one.  That always happens to me.  Also staying off the roller coaster and not doing high speed aerobatics during a race helps a whole bunch.

I know some of you will be glad to hear this. I won't be coming to the race. Some things have come up that will keep me away.

I just get in the way anyway. Have fun.

A FABULOUS weekend of racing. As usual, a great time was had by all and the hospitallity was flowing over. The food was fantabulous. The weather needs a touch of improvement, but it did not dull the enthusiasm of the attendees. Thanks OJA group for another spectacular weekend of racing.

Old Julian Airport is just a fabulous Pylon Racing venue.  Thank you Mike, Jim, Mabel, Betty, Liz, Herman, Allan, Steven, Joseph, and all the others that made this a premier event.  It is such a pleasure to come and participate at a well run event with great competitors.  Thanks to all that came and participated.

Oh Man. What a great Experience. The Field is Beautifil. My first time to OJ. You can count me in for next Spring. A bunch of great people. Thanks for hosting a awesome event.

ps. Now I know I'm capable of flying in a Hurricane.
