Default ESM A6M Zero

Well, I've pre-ordered mine from VQ, as well as a tailwheel from Earl Anun.

Of course mine will be electric. I will be running an AXI 5345/14, with a Castle Creations HV 160 ESC, on 20 cells(4 five cells in parallel) This should give me flight times of 10 to 12 minutes flat out, and being a short nosed bird, I'm sure it can use the weight.
It's still 2 months out from being released, but I'm looking forward to it!
I'll be using Sierra gear as usual...

I'll try to keep the extra detail to a minimum...

yeah right!

Here's the only vid, from the prototype.

Looks to be quite stable.

I'll be keeping mine in the white scheme, for the Pearl Harbor.

I see Earl has a 'custom' option under size. I wonder if he would make a 1/4 scale size for the Zero tail gear?

Bubba,
I'm gonna use Thunder power 5 cell 5000MaH 65c battery's. I'm gonna run 4 in parallel like Neville is in his LA 7.

Vic,

Can't wait to see how this one flies. I doubt I'll have it done in time for the Castle show, but then you never know. I do have the FW 190 ready though. I may bring another, not sure yet. I sure look forward to seeing you all again.

Gary,

It won't hurt to ask! I can tell you this much, I ordered it late Saturday, and somehow they had it shipped out before Monday!
I'll let everybody know what it looks like.

I want to get one of these (of course, I want a LOT of new planes I see), but I wonder what the actual wingspan will be? Some places (like VQWarbirds) say 80 inches, while Troy Built Models says 88 (or 87.8, or even 80 again in one certain line). So, which is it?

I believe that it is indeed larger than 80". If I remember right, I heard 88 inches.

"Yeah right" is right! I've seen your "minimal" details Casey. I'm sure this one will be another awesome showcase of some talented detailing. Looking forward to it; subscribed!!
