Default Simjet 3000 ECU?

Does anyone have an ECU for a simjet 3000 or 2500 laying around they would like to part with? Please send me a PM or call at 405-229-1905
Thanks,

Michael

I don't have one, but I was able to convert my Simjet 2300 to the Gasper/Xicoy ECU with no problems.

Thanks for the input Edgar. How hard was it to wire everything up to the new components? Has anyone documented and upgrade on line? That may be an option.

Thanks Tommy. I have the simjet 3000 and the ecu is a FADEC 2000-2. It went from running perfectly to the starter motor continously engaging once the power switch was turned on. Talked to Kerry Sterner and he said that was a common issue with the ECU, but since parts are no longer available I thought I'd ask my friends on RCU if anyone had something laying around. If not then looks like the Xicoy maybe the only way to go.

Again thanks to everyone for all the feedback and PM's

It was not very hard. I didn't have to deal with either the starter motor or the magnetic sensor. Pretty much just plugging the new stuff.

Got the xicoy parameters from the Web. You can try Kerry Sterner as he used to service them (code Vampire in RCU)

Good luck,
Edgar
