Doug,
Is Bruce Cronkhite a relation to you? He did a very in depth article on using silkspan in the mid 90s on the other website. I have used his technique and it works great.

OK... for the real flight report.
Liftoff was totally uneventful, needed some up trim and a little aileron trim, touch of rudder trim.
Winds were about 10 mph and slightly crosswind.
I set the timer for 5 mins and being this is a prototype I am focused on getting the airplane to trim to the best possible and I dont want to test the struture of the plane till then.
So... couple of passes... time for KINFE EDGE flight.
There was no noticeable roll coupling but I did have a pull the canopy.
Stall turns.. fantastic, downlines are straight with a little roll but I think that may be due to some twist in a wing or stab, or y wings my be off a little since there are FOUR different wings with individual adjusters and adjusters on the stabs.
So, I am very very pleased with the initital results and its on to more trimming. I will keep you posted.
Thanks for all your positive comments and encouragement.

Well, intended to be 0 thrust, 1 deg right thrust .
Wings all set to .5
Stab 0
Ended up with wings at 1 before I figured out we have 1 up thrust.
I'm going to return wings to .5 and remove up thrust and this should remove most of the canopy pull.
