Default 6 Cells and Cellpro 10XP

I have encountered a curious problem and I was hoping some one can shed some light on .

I have a cellpro 10 xp and it charges my 3cell Turnigy and Zippy batteries very well. When I replace the 3 cell with a 6 cell ( same brand - Turnigy and Zippy ) the charger show an error " FMA NODE ERROR" and does not work.
I then put the 3 cell batts back and everything is just fine.

Noting is changed except the number of cells in pack . Always charging one pack at a time.

Can anyone help with this ? It is both curious and most annoying .

Thank you

Does it work if you don't do a balance charge? This might differentiate the problem between the balance port and possibly an internal voltage regulator thing. Is the charger capable and do you have a 7cell or maybe even a 4cell you can try?

Thank you for the response.
The Cellpro does not support balance only charging life the FMA 4s.

I have found the problem. One must connect BOTH pigtails for 6 and up cell charging .

It was that simple . Some times things just go that way.
