RE: Best Hex Drivers
In reply to Phmaximus's question, many a time. I now use a dab of silicone in the screw head to help stop gunked up heads, I do it on my suspension screws flicks out with a pick and leaves the hole clean for the hex wrench.

I've always had good luck with Dynamite tools they wont break you and they in my opinion are quality. They've never stripped out on me or rounded and I can replace the shafts as well also small but noticible comfort my hand could be covered in nitro or after run oil and no slip.

RE: Best Hex Drivers
I have a Losi brand hex driver I got just for set screws. Paid $15 for the one, while at the same time I bought a SET of Dynamite hex drivers for $15. The Losi wrench has replaceable tips. The Dynamites are cheapies. The one I use the most, the 2mm, started rounding on me. I took a Dremel cutting wheel to the tip, squaring it off, and it worked! Saved me having to buy a replacement. So you guys with the Dynamite hex drivers, try it. But yeah, when it comes time, I'll buy quality replacements.

RE: Best Hex Drivers
stop buying that cheep crap and get them from snap on tools. they will have a life time guarante and they are really much stronger. snap on may cost more but they are the best tools out there.

If you don't want to spend big bucks and ease of buying, Klein makes some nice hex drivers you can find at home depot. They make a kit with a bunch of bit's both metric and standard and the driver for around $23 (way nicer steel then dynamite). They also make nice nut driver bits you could use with the same driver. Personally I like a ratcheting driver for long screws like diff screws, just makes it way easier . So that kinda rules out rc specific hex drivers for me, although I do own & use them to. While I have no experience with the high end rc tools like Hudy, I can say snap on is about as good as it gets. Most snap on tools I own are works of art themselves.
