How many of you use this product from Hanger 9 for your control set up?

RE: control set up
I was using an Astroflight wattmeter for years but gave in and bought the Hangar 9 version as it has more resolution because it's designed to read lower current levels. I wouldn't think of not using one to set up a jet or giant scale stuff. Can't really go by the sound on digital servos to get the lowest current settings especially on ganged servo setups.

Never used it as is first time i hear about it. Are we looking for specific figures or just low figures meaning servo current consuption is at minimum? Thanks for bringing it to my attention...any european dealers?

Any Horizon Hobby Dealer.
Best way to use it is to lean heavily on surfaces to check current draw & voltage drop, you should be pleasantly suprised with the figures!

Certainly. Excellent tool. Also useful for checking voltage drop under load for long extensions such as your elevator servos in the back of the plane. U need a second voltage meter of some kind to plug in to the battery/switch. They don't have to reAd the exact same but the relative difference should remain the same as you put load on the control surface.
Also, I like Dave W's idea of standing the wing/plane up when setting up flaps so u take the gravity loads out of the equation.
