The excitement builds! This is going to be an interesting kit to contemplate as an RC, and the price is actually in the reasonable range.
Hmmmmmmm...

This looks like a Styrene injection kit. Is it?

Sure is. Next from them should be a bunch of Marders!

Very nice un-boxing, should be a great kit to build. We will be carrying this model kit and our shipment should be available on our website sometime in May.
Will make a separate announcement once they are available.

Mine arrived from Welsh Dragon yesterday, looks good. Only slight problem is that the manufacturer has failed to put in enough track links to build the track but they are to follow. I'm guessing this is across the board with all kits and not just Welshdragons....

Sorry, I haven't started the build yet so it would only be a wild guess, Welsh dragon only mentioned "insufficient" links which would follow as soon as Panda sent them out to him.

the turret ring is molded in. That might make it a pain to R/C the turret...
The hull is also multi-peices. Need to strenghten that.
Lastly, the sproket looks THIN!
Man i hope we can r/c this without having to re-engineer half the tank...

You would have to remove that anyway as whatever you're using would go in it's place.

RE: Video Review of Panda 1/16 PzKpfw 38(T)
Guys, this isnt looking good as an RC conversion. I will get one as it will look nice for a static ppiece in my armor collection but the work it would take to make this a nice RC tank with suspension and everything would be crazy. I will just wait for an rc kit in this model. Someone should make it because then they could make hetzer's and different models of the marder based on the chasis that they have already made. Cant believe Heng Long or Tamiya hasnt done one yet as they could really add an entire new series of vehicles to their selections and only have to mold once hull etc...

I like this version as well Panzer 38(t) neuer art. It had a cast improved turret and welded construction of the lower hull. No rivets. It was to have been a reconnaissance tank. Only 15 were produced.

If one knows what he's doing and what he can do, it can be done.
Not just a simple bolt on conversion to RC this kit. I think there's more problems with the sprocket/idler and tracks than anything.
