HEMET 2013, U.S.Scale Masters qualifier - 19,20,21 April 2013
The annual SoCal regional Scale Masters qualifier is fast approaching
...in two weeks!
Looks like we'll have another well attended contest. Should be lots of fun as we're using the new qualifing method now. So equals less stress for everyone.
You no longer need to worry about who is in your "class" because everyone has an equal chance to get qualified for the Championships. Remember, we are now using
the ( minimum-score ) method which means all you have to do is reach the combined total ( static & flight ) minimum for your particular 'Class'.
EXPERT class & TEAM class contestants need 175 out of 200 points ( BoM rule applies - no A.R.F.s alowed )-( staic score on a 100 point base )-( full documentation required )
ADVANCED class needs a score of only 165 out of 200 points ( A.R.F.s allowed )-( static score on a 100 point base )-( full documentation required )
Pro/Am Pro ( the old OPEN class ) needs 110 out of 130 points ( A.R.F.s allowed )-( static score on a 30 point base )-( no documentation required, just a photo of your prototype )
Pro/Am Sportsman ( the old FUN-SCALE class ) 105 out of 125 points - this class is for first time contestants who have never before entered a Scale Masters contest. ( A.R.F.s allowed )-( static score is 25 points just for including a single photo of your prototype )-all or nothing.
Good luck to everyone!
Ken.
ps; I am unable to upload the flyer ( error message ) so for contest info, please visit http://www.usscalemasters.org

...a couple more from the 'Golden Age' of aviation.
Both of these models are being flown in "EXPERT" class and each received a static score of 97.75!
...well done guys!
