RE: Fei Bao Hawk
If I understand your question you must have purchased the arf without the factory installed doors...correct?
The manual does not cover installation of the doors or speed brakes, so here are a few photos that should help.
If you don't have the hinges and cylinders you can purchase them from Wagner at RC Jets Models.
BTW the cylinders measure 5" (127 mm) in length fully extended from end to end

RE: Fei Bao Hawk
I see the last post is almost 3 years old. Thought I'd bring it back to life with my almost completed Hawk.
Are there any flying that have any info on what the cg and the throws are?
Here's a couple of pics of mine.

Hey Paul how are you?
I received mine from Mike. Was just looking to see if anyone else
had one they where flying.
Wondering how slow it lands with new washout and flap design

Warpsflyer, it is indeed a beautiful airplane. The cockpit details are great and the finish is stunning.
I will be starting mine soon and will be sending the pictures and build info over to Mike @ Global Jets to update the manual.

Hi ,
The new designed wing with a new airfoil and a 2 degree washout absolutely solved the old Hawks problems .
The flap deployment does very litle effect on the pitch atitude .
Center of Gravity should be 195mm ~205mm backwards from wing LE at root .
Aileron throw +/- 20 mm high rate 25% expo . +/- 12mm low rate 20% expo.
Elevator throw +/- 40mm 35~40 % expo.
We fly the model with a P-80SE. And a 3lt fuel tank ...

I am considering this airplane for my next project. Any new news on how the thing flies and any mods you guys are doing to it to make it fly better/different. Are you guys happy with it?
