What are the 5 from HPI? I only see one DSX2 body that fits with no mods...

There is the DSX-1 and DSX-2 without mod, and then there is the Chevy Silverado, Dodge Ram, Ford F-350 you have to eighter raise the body posts.

Any dirt is good.  I got my 4x4sc out on an 8th/5th scale track tonight.  It was so fun.  My first outdoor off-road driving since september.

DSX-1 is for the nitro firestorm, the shock tower locations are in different positions.

What is your shipping time to a base in afghanistan?

I see, Still not much difference in styles really. The design of the RC just does not leave it open to a lot of choices. Thanks for the info dude.

The selections for the durango DEST210 and losi 22t isn't any better.  All the bodies that are available are race oriented, too, not a lot of diversity.

Thats the new model and a new video.  ITs the brushless waterproof version with modern graphics.

Was the white van I saw a mini van too?  I assume you are replacing it.
Off to the barnyard for a race tomorrow - you should consider coming out there for a race or series, its not much further than I am driving to be there.

Well I my new pinions in and now I have to wait for my new spur gears to come in. The loctite didn't hold my screw in my pinion gear so it slipped and grinded down some of my spur gear.

Yeah the white van was a GMC safari, I sold that and got a brand new Toyota corolla when i started working at Toyota. Which was totaled in my accident. So I went back to a van again... KIA sedona.

Yeah I used the blue stuff. I even let it set over night before I ran it. Not sure why it did that, but oh well. Stuff happens just gotta fix it.

Very true, My XS had the pinion come off (not loctited from factory) and its a pain to tear it apart.

Sweet - I will check them both out. This one looks a little close to the rear though, shouldn't it be further away?

Hey guys. The 8th scale electronics experiment is over, put the castle 4600 back in it.  The other motor was too heavy and honestly, too fast to enjoy.

Platinum RC Products???

After reading this site, noticed many of you guys have upgraded to some of the carbon fiber parts for the storm.  Have any of you had issues receiving your parts?  Ordered two of their kits, all seemed well at time of order, but never received the kit.  Received a reply to my first email stating the kit was out of stock and it would be a few weeks before I would get it, that was mid April.  Tried emailing several times for an update, but suddenly communication stopped.  Wondering if anyone else has had problems with this company?  Guess I am out 70$, kind of lost faith I would get anything in the mail.  Especially now that I can't get a response from PRC.  Oh well, lesson learned.  I am always on the fence about a company when the only contact info listed is an email address.
