RE: True metal heads
Will not contribute til you put it in alphabetical order, sorry mate, I'm not searching the whole list for every metal band. lol.
For starters though, Biohazard? Vader? Slayer? Sepultura? Led Zeppelin? Black Sabbath? Linkin Park? Iron Maiden? AC-DC? Def Leppard? Kiss? Faith no More?

RE: True metal heads
Sorry The list is pretty much as we remembered them! Some are local to us, like Mushroomhead, 216, and as a friend on FaceBook suggested, Hate Theory.
Slayer's on there, about halfway down! The others were considered, and may still make the list, but most of what we have got big in the 90's when we discovered them on local radio stations.

RE: True metal heads
Yeah, but they made this list anyways. It was basically a list of what we listened to growing up, and now expanding into a bigger list. It's supposed to be a fun thing to compile all the favorite groups, quit being so nitpicky!

RE: True metal heads
Everclear? Blech!
While metal is certainly a relevant term some of the bands mentioned wouldn't fall under the heading "metal" IMHOP. Like biohazard...great band but that's def NYC hardcore which is a genre on to itself like
madball
gorilla biscuits
leeway
agnostic front
bad brains
cromags
murphy's law
sick of it all
H20
social disorder
pro-pain
Then there's metal
MASTADON!! (the best)
Baroness
sword
torch
red fang
mars volta
into another (one of my faves)
testament (check em out you'll laugh)
napalm death
