It was sturdily made but very expensive with a basic design so probably a little success... it's not stayed for a long time in the Graupner catalog.
The british AMPS outdrive gives the size. Chris

This outdrive is a Graupner Z-ANTRIEB N° 1984 made in Germany with a 1996 date . It was advertised up to 25 CC engines and 15000RPM.

RE: AMPS hulls & outboards pics& tips
Hi Folks..
This looks like the place to be for AMPS stuff. I'm looking for the transom mount assembly for the short shaft/formula I lower unit. I need both parts, the pivot piece that goes on the lower unit, and the transom piece. Anyone out there that can help me out? Also, what paint do you folks use to repaint your lower units?
Thanks,
Steve

RE: AMPS hulls & outboards pics& tips
Hi all just a little progress update . Been busy getting the full sized 402 ready for the season. But ifinally got the engines broke in and semi adjusted (8 starter belts,7 u-joints later/started making the u-joints) dang these things are fast and ive only had one engine running at a time, finally realized my props are probably too big causing my u-joint issues so going smaller on those. sorry I don't have pics on the water yet been running on a very small pond across the street and ran it aground trying to take a pic. hopefully have both engines running together in the next few weeks and head to the lake with it and get some pics. Thanks to all for the help.

Hi, my name is Dave. I have posted here before. In fact there are a lot of pictures here from my collection of international hobbies boats posted in this thread. I was wondering though, if someone could help me identify this boat . I believe it is an International Hobbies hull. I bought it because it had an AMPS outdrive and O.S. .65 marine engine installed in it. None of my International Hobbies literature has this boat listed. Can someone help. It is 48 inches long.

I really don't think it's a dumas because it looks like it was blown out of a chopper gun like the International hobbies boats. It does look a lot like one though.... I have had several dumas fiberglass deep vee boats and they were all heavier layup. Someone here will know for sure.

Thanks, that is what I thought. I was going to sell it if it was not an AMPS. I will save it maybe one day set it up with two of my AMPS outdrives . Have not really been playing with or looking at my R/c boats for the last few years. Got bit by the Heli bug a few years ago so that has distracted me but kind of getting back to the boats but only want to keep the best stuff so
have been cleaning house and thinking of putting some boats(Dumas mostly) on ebay I will never use and don't need. I am keeping all of the AMPS stuff though , it is by far my favorite R/C stuff, Heck with all this clear space maybe I will buy some more International hobbies/AMPS
Been thinking about mounting a brushless motor on a AMPS mid/lower and putting it on one of the tunnels , probably the seebold. I love the real sound and smoke of the combustion engine but have grown tired of the hassle and mess. Kind of got spoiled by the eez of use with the electric on my Helicopters . This new electric technolgy has sure changed things ....What do do?? So many options.

Nice motor! I don't have a suzuki yet! Think I might need one..Seems like we always want more when it comes to these little motors. Oh well, there are worse things we could spend our money on....
