Top Gun 2013 Results

Congratulations again to Mr. Dave Wigley on winning the prestigious Mr. Top Gun award for the 4th year in a row.This year Dave entered his latest project a British Bristol BeauFighter twin engine fighter bomber.An amazing subject created by an amazing modeler.Dave from all your friends in Florida congrats and thanks for inspiring all of us in our great sport.And also congratulations to Mr. Frank Tiano for 25 years strong in creating the worlds premiere scale event.Through his collective efforts we have all benefitted from Franks passion for scale modeling.

Another great event for Frank Tiano! I spent three days there and it was wonderful! However I missed the last round on Sunday - any word on who won the team event? I was absolutely sick when I saw Mike Selby's SAAB go in on Saturday - what a beautifully unique aircraft! But Mears' Thunderbird was awesome, too!

scale-jets.com is the kit mfg. it is the same mfg that does the f16 that Mears/Shulman won with many times.

There are alot of pictures on flyinggiants.com the are broken down buy day and type. I looks like they got pictures of just about every plane there.

It's annoying, the Internet exists to share information and a site the stupidly restricts information about a supposed competitor just doesn't get it.

The other site has no issues with naming RCUniverse, why should they have the reverse issue? We are all here to Build RC Scale models after all?

thanks. thats it. My brother flew my airtractor 502 in pro-am. thats how I knew about it. it was pretty exciting to see something I built at Topgun. hopefully I can go next time.
