Can't we come to an online forum to discuss what we like? What we dislike? Help us police ourselves? Keep our hobby safe?

I don't think ANY manufacture with a LONG, very long, list of documented failed aircraft will have ANY leeway in proving that their jets were flight worthy in court. And telling the truth is NOT defamation.

A Chinese company can't sue an american citizen for using his/her right of "Freedom Of Speech." I'm sure they could try... but "personal" conversations, in a public forum, doesn't constitute professional slander.

I agree with what Tony said, Also for a company say FEJ to try and sue someone for complaining about their product would put then out of business real quick IMO.

I only practice law, but Truth is an Affirmative Defense to Defamation/Libel/Slander. On the other hand it would be interesting to see the pleading paperwork on a filing attempt by them just to see how much they are claiming in Damages.

1. The plaintiff would have to demonstrate that their airframes ate safe and well designed.
2. The defendant would have to prove that the airframe is unsafe.

Dont stop at FEJ. What about the four hours of you tube video's of boomers blowing apart. My XL blew apart doing a straight knife edge pass.
Oh there are plenty that haven't but there are sooooooooo many that have. AMA needs to put a rejection stamp on the boomers also before one blows up into a crowd.
