Default Old Italian Super Tigre S-40

I am in need of some help with this old Super Tigre S-40 Italian engine. I have had this engine for 4 years but only has about one full year of use. It was in a trainer that crashed last year and the engine suffered no damage. However now this engine will not fire at all I had the engine taken apart and thoroughly cleaned before trying to start again. Prior to the crash this engine ran great no problems at all. Any help or suggestions would be great.

Might be a bad glow plug.

Thanks for the suggestion but I have tried another plug and no luck there at all. I forgot to mention that in my original post.

when you took it apart, did you have the sleeve out of the case? If so, perhaps it's not back in the proper orientation..

Is the compression good? If not check for proper torqueing of the head screws, perhaps dirt caught in the ring gap, or perhaps a cracked ring.

Is there raw fuel coming out of the muffler?  If not, then it's not getting fuel.  Could be a clog somewhere.

It should at least run off a big prime.  Sometimes the fuel pickup will push forward in a crash and pinch things off.  It should still run off a prime though.
