Default jato 3.3 upgrades help?

Alright so this thing is like complete junk, my buddy gave it to me and it looks like he never took it apart to clean it once the whole 2 years he had it!
so my question is what would be the best hopups for this? i'll be doing speed runs with this mostly.

Ok, been running 2 jatos for 2 years. First the arms to RPM. Upgrade the stock clutchbell to a robinson racing hardened steel, spur and transmission gearing to hardened steel. Change the shock towers to aluminum, install a front brace from bulkhead to top tray. That's a weak point. The rest is merely cosmetic.

I'm gonna get a new dual brake system to and where does the throttle return spring go? Its not attached to where it should be on one end. It just hangs there on (not sure what this part is called so ill describe it) the rod that connects the carb to the steering throttle (it opens up the carb).
And if you could supply me with a picture that would be great to

Yes, but I'd get the BUKU brand, some of the cheaper ones on the bay will wear out fast. I agree Mattster1971 about the RPM arms, and chassis supportI'd also recommend getting a TBR bumper. I wouldn't recommend the hardened CB/spur combo, a properly meshed stock set will last gallons. The aluminum towers wouldn't be on my list either, especially if you're looking for speed runs, the added weight won't help.

I totally agree nasty, and i will be dropping a .21 os or novarossi in this, will defiantly be upgrading all the gears to harden steel, but i will keep the spur plastic for a weak point. Need a bb conversion kit though, anyone know a good one?

The only upgrades I have found necessary are the rpm arms, front bumper, and some harder shock shafts.
