*** 10th Anniversary Warbirds Over The Rockies Sept. 13-15, 2013 ***
SCRABLE, SCRAMBLE, SCRAMBLE!!!
The registration ink is now open on RC Flight Deck at:[link]http://www.rcflightdeck.com/event_details.cfm?event_id=1648[/link]
Love Air RC is once again excited to again be hosting the 10th Anniversary Warbirds Over The Rockies, one of the nation's best warbirds events. This year's anniversary event will be extra special.
More 125 pilots and many, many great aircraft are expected at Drake Field east of Ft Collins CO. In case you are a first time flyer at this event, the runway is 800 ft. x 70 ft. wide and there are no obstructions.
Last year the event raised $20,000 for the Colorado chapter of Mental Health America. Proceeds will again be donated to this worthy cause.
This event is designed especially for the warbird pilot. The landing fee of ($50.00) includes $7.00 in “Warbird Bucks” that can be used for purchases at the Cool Stuff Store. Please note that the onsite fee is $60.
All aircraft must have been used in the military and be in military paint schemes. Aircraft of any scale, including arfs, are welcome. This means lots of open flying without interference from flying lawn mowers or 3D planes.
The noon show will again feature full scale fly-bys; the pyro show will be fantastic as always and there are openings for big bombers and fighters to participate in the hour long model airshow. The noon show will include a mass foamy warbirds launch which had nearly 50 aircraft in the air last year. Oh by the way, did we mention the spectacular pyro show provided by Angel Light Pyrotechnics!!!
Thousands of dollars of donated R/C merchandise will available a prizes or sold at auction during the Saturday night banquet.
Famous Dave’s BBQ will be the official food vendor with an expanded menu.
The banquet on Saturday night, held at the Lory Student Union, at Colorado State University, will again feature an Ace. The sit down dinner features prime rib, salmon or a vegetarian option with all the fixings, soft drink and dessert. Cost is $40 per person. A no host bar will also be available. The banquet will be both entertaining and full of surprises.
Banquet tickets are available on-line or by mail; a limited number of tickets will be available at the field. Please buy your tickets early as seating is limited.

Not sure what you are looking for in terms of ease of use as we believe that this system is far easier to use that our past process. Feel free to pm me or call to discuss your specific problems,

Registration is really quick and easy on RC Flight Deck. This computer program was developed by Michael Kranitz, who was one of the original owners of RC Universe.
Br sure to fill out the plane information for the announcer, as we give the info to the magazines as well.
You can register, rent a tent, buy banquet tickets and buy spectator tickets as well.
Many events will be using this computer platform in the future, so after you have registered and loaded your plane information, it is then easy to register for other events.

Moving this thread to a sticky to help Brian get the word out about WOTR!!! I've been to a lot of warbird events over the years and this one has to rank right up there at the top of them. Brian and his crew do a great job of putting on an event that is great for pilots, spectators, vendors, and anybody else involved. I strongly encourage everybody to get to this event if at all possible.

My Luft is all on a ship headed for Pearl Harbor at the moment. I had hoped to make it this year for the 10th anniversary, but we moved the "move" date up...
Hopefully, the next time I fly it will be on Ford island. I've got a Zero that I've added to the Axis powers just for the event!

RC Ken filmed the entire event and he was supposed to post the video, but he never has. He is the moderator here. I will ask him if he has a video of the two spits. What are you bringing this year?
