Default How good are NI-ZN ( Nickle- Zinc) batteries

I am in need of a 4.8 volt ignition battery and am considering purchasing a 4.8 volt 1500 mA NI-ZN battery pack to do the job, but I have no knowledge of this battery technology. How good are they and would one be suitable for my application, and will a regular NiCad or NIMH charger charge them ?

If you have a multi charger that can update it's firmware, then it may be an upgrade. One of the updates I had was for NiZn batteries. From what i read, they charged to 1.9V per cell.

*Note: When charging these Ni-ZN cells, set your charger to Ni-CD/Ni-MH mode using CV (constant voltage) charge function. Set the cutoff voltage to 1.9V per cell.

Nicek Zinc Batteries are powerful rechargeable battries. This battery has wonderful life but it's a little costly.
