Default Motor cutting out.

Fired up the Rappy 50 after a fly bar fix. Had about 30 flights on her.
Started right up, warmed her up ,idled fine.
Spooled her up and went into hover.
10 seconds in and 10 feet up she cut out and went to idle. White knuckle landing.
Checked glo plug, glowing bright, checked in line fuel filter, clean.
Started right back up, tried again, spooled her up again started to hover about half stick, cut back to idle ?

Starts and Idles just fine, spools up, starts to hover and cuts back to idle.

I put bricks on the skids to hold her down to the ground, reved her up to mid stick, went back to idle.
Any thoughts ?
Thanks

Sounds like a radio issue, check your battery.

Eh...I been messing with this RC stuff a year or two

It was going into fail safe and pulling the throttle to idle. The pack can't hold a load, start working the sticks and the voltage drops off then the throttle servo went to idle.

When the load was removed the voltage came back up and it looked like the battery was ok.

Was gonna order a new Nicad to replace the old one,is there something better ?
I only have the one Futaba charger that that does the RX and TX.
If I changed the rx to some thing differant I would have to change the TX as well ?

I have the B6T 2 IN 1..I love it. Gives me an indication of the remaining power, glow igniter and good stable power. I’m flying a Raptor 50.
