what kind of clear coat do you use?
i use acrilic color for paint but i have some problem with clear coat,
normally the type used for cars are very heavy and diffucolt to apply.

After 27 flights, I can say that I am pleased with the plane angles and C.G. place.
The angles are just as Pascal Novik recommended, (thanks Pascal):
The T canalizer: – 1° from the fuselage center line.
The stabilizers: 0°,
The wing: + 0.8°
The motor: 1.5° down, 3° right.
The C.G. is at 193 mm from the trailing edge.

Now it is the time to remove the wings adjusters and to save 11 gram more (13.5-2.5).
This also eliminates some unpleasant flexibility from the wings roots.

I have now 42 flights with the Arixtra and I can definitely say that it is the best F3A plane I ever had.
My friend Amram Leshed who is one of the best F3A pilot in Israel (and also an international F3A judge) saw the plane flying today and said that this is the best F3A plane he had ever seen!!! (Amram is well known here in Israel as one who can observe any tiny undesirable movement of a plane).
Today I finished calibrating the plane for knife edge loop.
This plane has a very big fin and the fuselage side area is about 10% bigger than the Xigris. It does a knife edge loop with ease, you need only half of the rudder movement in order to do a knife edge loop, compared to the Xigris and almost no need for mixing, amazing!
Here are the mixing rates it needs for knife edge loop:
The rudder stick movement is from – 45% to + 45%.
I use Spline mixer type for knife edge mixing.
Rudder to Aileron:
Position point Rate
-50% 0%
-25% 0%
-10% 0%
0% 0%
+10% 0%
+20% -0.5%
+50% -0.5%
Rudder to Elevator:
Position point Rate
-50% 0%
-30% 0%
-20% 0%
-10% -0.5%
0% 0%

Definitly the best F3A Ship I have seen or flown.
This specific model build by Najary is also most beautiful and light. 4700gram with heavy pack.
It's flight stability, pass tracking, head locking, and couplings is something which only the CPLR Axiome gets close too.
I know many people across the world have seen the build process over the thread on RCU forum but believe it or not it is more
beautiful and impressive in real!

The sand paper simulates the thickness of the paint and the velvety sticker in the stabilize root so the bolt that attaches the stabilizer will be in place see post #101.

When you fill the wing root (Post #151):
1) do you lube or do anything special to the plastic wrap?
2) are you using epoxy and microballoons? if so, is it finishing epoxy?
I have to fill the roots of my Integral. It is a composite wing so I was thinking of a wide bead of epoxy/microballoons or a wide bead of Hysol.

2. I use structure epoxy with large quantity of microballoons see picture.

Isaac, how is your motor mount holding up? I am in the process of making a carbon mount. My first piece looks great but I am concerned about how little material I have surrounding the bolt holes. I know I could use a little more but not sure how much. This is carbon from HK (this mount is .060"/1.5mm, but I will use either 2.5mm/.100" or a piece of .090" I have. Your mount in #104-105. The digital picture is my next rendition. Actual part has 2.8mm material to either side of hole. Digital model has 4.65mm. Holes themselves are 4.6mm diameter.
