Dynam P 47 retracts
I purchased a Dynam P 47 Thunderbolt from Nitroplanes and the retracts will not work. I've tried to contact Nitroplanes but no reply so far and, from what I've read about Nitroplanes in comments by RCU folks, maybe there won't be one. So, in case I have to live with bad retracts, does anyone have an idea how I might get them to work. They are electric, I believe. There is no sign of life when hooked up to the retract channel on my Airtronics RDS 8000. I know the channel works because I've hooked up an aileron to it and it functions. Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Dynam P 47 retracts
Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, it didn't work but it did give me a few minutes of hope as I tried different settings. It may well be something in the transmitter functions that's causing the problem but in this case the transmitter is smarter than I am. I tried going to the extremes (+150/-150, +150/+150, -150/-150 and 0/0. Also a few random settings in between.) Once again, thanks for helping.

RE: Dynam P 47 retracts
Interesting development! Thinking that maybe the Airtronics RDS 8000 transmitter might be the problem (after reading Gohmer's comment), I dug out an old Airtronics Vanguard radio and wired a lead for the correct polarity. Hook it up and lo and behold, the retracts work. So, there's some setting in the transmitter that the ESC doesn't like and now to find it. I did leave the gear down so I can at least test fly the P47. RC is SO much fun.
