Default J10 Vertical launch "manually"

It seems I cannot upload image files using Chrome browser??? So below are some pictures calling from a RC forum in China. Hope you can see them. (And it would be appreciated if anybody can guide me how to upload files here.)

These pictures are screenshots on video taken in April 2012, when we tested the J10 "hovering".

I will upload more pictures and update more recent information on this machine.

Note: This is NOT a FEJ stuff.

Thanks.

Looks to me like its a foamie. Would explain the engine right at the VERY back...and the rearward CG helping it stand on its tail.

Cool but I think seeing the CARF Eurosport 3D hover and fly is really impressive when the pilot has the balls to get it down on the deck.

Despite if its a foamie or engine is at the rear or whatever it is still a very good try and i like it when people are experimenting this kind of staff!! well done..

Can anyone do this without gyros? I appreciate the technology, and coming from helis, HH gyros opened a whole new world for us for flying backwards, but I feel like its cheating!

It's the engine and the "thrust-vectoring nozzle"

Can you see the picture below?

No, it's not foam. Not at all. It's a sort of "honeycomb material" which is being wrongly used by some other manufacturer. ...
Your are right, the engine is very back for the vector nozzle. However, the CG is in normal position and this plane is flying both normal flight and 3D. I will post some more information tomorrow.

I would imagine torque produced by the rotational turbine exhaust.

Incredible!! Pushing, kicking the jet and it still goes back to a neutral axis.
Nice Job Guys,

Yes. And it's rolling faster when the wings are not attached.

Haha, so nice to see friends here! I will pass your greetings to Lao Dong. And he's playing some new toys - You definitely ask him a Giant J10 instead!
