Default Palmer cougar

I thought I would report that I have flown the cougar and it flys very well! I had move the C/G back some from the position shown on the plans, good grass field jet with a p80 for power as the plane came out about 26lb. dry,Rich

That is a beautiful model! So, how did you like building from the Palmer Plans? I have been wanting to do the Dash 7 he drew up, but thus far, I have heard little to recommend his plans.Dash

It's about time you flew her! Glad she flew well. Guess I have to build one now.

See you in a couple of weeks.

Very nice build and glad to hear it flies well. I have had the plans for some time and will probably start the build. Generally I go a different way as in building a plug, and producing a composite fuselage based on the plans and then build up wings and the rest. This is what I have done with the Ziroli Panther (pics attached) which turned out quite good and flies really well so probably will go same way with Cougar. So thanks for the inspiration.
