So I am looking at possibly getting a 500 class and I really like align but I don't know the difference between the pro dfc version and the pro efl version can anybody help....not a big price difference but I don't see the difference.....thanks for input

The PRO EFL version is a non Direct Link Control type head, and has swash following arms that attach the swash to the head assembly while the DFC uses the control arms to drive the swash plate.
I have not flown a DFC and therefore can not give my impression of the differences in flight.

Thanks Brian.....I noticed that the efl is alittle more expensive....is this because that it is suppose to be more efficient than the dfc head....thanks mike

I personally don't care for DFC heads and have tried them. I have also read a lot of discussions on it and haven't seen a good reason as to why to get one. If you are looking at a combo, I would try to get it without the 3GX and get either a beastx or my personal favorite the Ikon. As far as the 500 goes, I love flying it.

Is that flybarless....sorry but align has so many different models I can't keep up with them all....[]

It was originally flybarred, but I converted it FBL.
