Hi Carsten
You already have a wonderful A10 !!!!! I saw it at JetPower last year.
With some small details on the ailerons that higtly interest me.
I made a belt all aroud the fan with kevlar thread fiber glued with very strong epoxy ( professional one ) , so that they can not explode.
It seems to work ...

Stan, just heard from Bogo. The items are very important mods for the elevator system and are essential for the safety of the model....
Just kidding, they are axle covers for the main gear...

I really don't have this items in my both G4 kit !!!!!
I don't see where it could be used.
If you have some more details I'm interested.
Now my both G4 have : 70 flights for the first one and 40 for the second and I don't have trouble or failure at the elevator.
Keep us informed.
Concerning the elevator I already noticed in this forum that the 2 screws are too shorts. They just have 2mm engaged. They need to be changed for longer ones.
Best regards
Stan

Hi Stan,
There is no mod for the elevator - it was simply a joke, which might have gotten lost in translation
The items on the pictures are axle covers for the main gear and should be part of the scale kit from Mibo containing flare dispensers, aileron trim kit, TAT probe and AOA probe.
I have some pictures but RCU dooesn't allow picture upload right now- I'll try later.

Last weekend I had the chance to try out the fans and they worked great. It was pretty cool watching them spool up during the start. I made a video of it but I cant get the silly thing to load.
I didn't notice any extra drag ( The A10 has so much drag anyway) and they worked great.

Thanks Chris!
A friend here in Denmark (Martin/WAM) is running 2 x P100RX in his G3 A10, and though it handles well and flies scale like, it would not hurt to have a little more power.
I have a G4 coming now (received the first few boxes), that will also be equipped with 2 x P100RX (because of weight restrictions), and we were talking about how much impact the turbofans has on the drag (Martin has not yet tried to remove them)

I personally think that ordinance adds more drag than the fans. I took most of my bombs and missiles off last weekend because I was nervous about the fans and I think it flew faster and smoother with them minus the ordinance. So I plan on putting them back.
This might seem like a dumb theory but I think once the fans spool up I think they let almost as much air through as the original screen I had. It does neck down inside so only so much is getting through there anyway. You're gonna have a lot of fun with this plane.

According to me the track flaps hinges represent a huge load of work for a very minimal result. And there is a huge risk of flutter du to the mechanism.
