RE: Holy Cow!
pricing proper cam cncs always put me in the 8-12k range
manual ones i dont have the skills to operate (im not a machinist) and im not a mechanical engineer to convert one on the cheaper like some people have done.
you do realize 3d printers are not cheaper by much either? also not sure if i buy the whole printing in metal.. stick to cnc if you are dropping that cash.

Nice find.
They use software I already have... and I can think of some cool stuff to make.
Thanks.

All i can tell you is once things pick up here, i'll add a 3D printer to my host of tools. Already been tinkering with them and i can't wait.
They are getting cheaper and more practical every year. The latest model can even use new plastics that are very strong once cured (in a regular oven).
No need for a metal one that needs to be cured in a high heat oven!

That drive sprocket they have pictured makes me think that a correct size idler for the Panzer III and Stug could be a reality!!![8D] I have always wondered why the after market shops didn't correct the size when they produced them as metal replacement parts???[&o]
