RE: I want to wear a BF 109 shirt
Thats a good question!!!!! I have German t-shirts as well. I usualy only wear them when I am going somewhere that the public understands that it is the intrest in the machine and not the politics that I'm advertising. Personaly, I wouldn't take any offence, but there are people who would and I also respect their feelings. By the way... where did you find that shirt? I have a t-shirt fetish and that is really cool!!!!

Pull it over your head. Make sure it is not on backwards. Wear it because you want to and don't worry about offending anyone.

Well, since you live in a blue state, I can predictyou're bound to get some PC BS from someone. I'd wear it and just have something in mind to say to the weenie who thinks you're a Nazi supporter.

When I was in school we had a student from India. He had a ring with the original Hindu swastika. No matter how hard he tried he couldn't convince people it wasn't the same as the nazi swastika (the nazis rotated it 45°).

I was monitoring our tables at a Mall Show where models were displayed and a college kid (girl) starts into me about how awful I am for displaying hate symbols & on-and-on. I was standing behind a red Ugly Stik with WWI pattee crosses.
I said something along the lines of: "Kid. Some of us recognize history for what it was and do not try and sugar coat it. That's a Christian symbol that was used by people, like you, who thought they were right and could force others to change."

There shouldn't be anything offensive with the shirt, unless it has a swastika. Gotta love vintage plane t-shirts.
I thought it would be cool to buy this t-shirt, to wear along with flying my AG Crusader, if I ever get around to flying it:
