I haven't. I think i'm gonna go ahead and get the Losi 4" aluminum threaded body shocks for it. Another question is, do people turn the tranny around in the chassis when they install a dig?

Check ur shocks first....

Drain the oil.... And without oil, Are they nice and smoothe with hardly any resistance to push the shaft in and out? If they are easy, don't bother replacing them. Keep in mind, shocks with a higher restiance generally won't leak as much, and nice silky shocks will leak slightly. It's all about how tight the seals are on the shafts... Allso it would be a good idea to check the piston to shock housing tension.... If the shocks have noticeable resistance with the o rings out, lightly sand the pistons with emery paper untill it's a nice fit.

Hey there, thanks for your replies. Since I've posted this My Ax10 has taken on a life of its own...lol...I've put quite a few more things on this since. It was originally just a RTC truck with all plastic everything and a damn 20 tooth pinion. It crawls much better now. I'll make a list of upgrades so far.

14t pinion
Hi Tec5645mg servo
aluminum steering knuckles
Aluminum chubs
Universal stainless front shafts
Carbon Steel drive shafts
Hb Rover tires
4" Losi aluminum threaded shocks 60wt rear 30wt front
4 link setup front and rear
Vanquish rear 4link servo mount
Extreme racing Carbon Fiber Chassis plates
Stainless hardware
RObinson racing slipper clutch assembly 88t

Coming/
Tekin FXR 35t motor and esc
heavy duty bevel gears in axles

Anybody know anything else that will make this truck better performing?

It sure is bud.. I just ordered the heavy duty bevel gears for the axles  a 43/13 for the rear for less torque twist and the front one is a higher gear ratio so it will pull up hills instead of all wheels pushing the same. So I won't flip backwards going up... It sure is a blast messing with these things..lol..there addicting. Between this and my Blade sr heli I'm breaking the bank in upgrades.. I'm gonna have to sell of one of my other  10 cars or trucks to afford it..

hahaa u got a balde sr? nice I had a mcp blade but my lhs messed that up by grounding my tail motors wires and shorted it out..cuz I didn't know about it so I let them do it and well I bought the bank so I sold it and put it towards the rusty..lol I like how ur front gears pull fast than ur back gear pushes for hills good idea....yeah I might have to sell my os vz-b for some t rex60 or (t60) cuz they aint cheap....o I took some big bore shocks from a jato and made em into scale shock azorbers that run a spring on the inside so no more coil over in the front...:P pretty sweet it leaves lots of room in my truck for a panhard link ....

Sounds Awesome bud!! yeah I love the heli's too. I am trading my Jato 3.3 with brand new proline Badlands for a T-rex 450 pro. Should be here tuesday. lol..That still leaves me 7 cars to play with, and 3 heli's to fly and some others as well. Yeah putting the underdrive gears in the rear really help out a ton and going up steep inclines I no longer flip over cause the front pulls up more than the rear...

The underdrive gear in the rear also almost eliminate my torque twist, that and 60wt shock oil in my rear left shock stop it almost completly
