Hey rye, if it were me, I would use a Zenoah 20EI or a DLE 20 on the Skybolt.

Or possibly a beam mount Valley View 20cc, as I have read many glowing reports on it.

Evolution 15cc GX  or 20cc GX gas engine.  Easy to install, it is  like dropping in a glow engine, but they are gasoline engines. Usually the problem you have with a airplane designed for glow engines, is trying to get the engine mounted and how to get the carburetor throttle hooked up on the rear carburetor engines. Then there is the radial mounting with the standoffs, they may not fit in the airplane as they are too wide for the firewall. The NGH 17cc gas engine is another candidate too. Now then some of the beam mount 20cc gas engines, such as the OS GT22, would maybe work if you can get the motor mounts and firewall to clear the rear carburetor on them. A longer four stroke type of motor mount might do the trick though.

A converted super tiger .90 is the ticket for this plane , will fly the wings off it.

I flew mine with a glow powered ST-90K with more than enough authority. The gas ST-90 versions should be more than adequate For most if not all the sport type flying the airplane is capable of doing,. Plus the weight factor is very attractive as compared to the other engines listed so far.
