JMA LONG MARSTON JULY 13/14
Last year saw the JMA return to Long Marston in July and October and again in March this year. The second event for this year is to be held over the weekend of July 13 & 14, it will be the same format as previous events. You will need to be a current JMA member to fly, camping is available on site from friday or if you do not fancy a tent or caravan, there is plenty of accomodation within a few miles of Long Marston, Toilet facilities will also be available on site.
The New Inn a couple of miles from Long Marston has proved popular with those attending the meets. More events at other locations are being planned and details will become available when they are confirmed.
Please book in with JMA Secretary [email protected]
** Please remember that flying fees are increased to £30 for one day and £40 for the weekend within two weeks of the event. These charges will come into effect from Saturday June 29. Fees can be paid by bank transfer, all details are on the JMA website http://jmajets.co.uk/board/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=3593 **

Just booked the New Inn for the 13th. Looks like there is a deal on at the moment where they are knocking money off room rates. Got a tenner off mine so more to spend in the bar watching the COCK drink himself into a coma...

We have now entered the two week period prior to the event as of yesterday. The higher charges now apply, £30 a day and £40 for the weekend. Flying fees and JMA membership can be taken on the day.

A week today it all kicks off, looks like it could be a scorching period of weather in England. Looking forward to this one.

Paul,
Would not be the same without you, i look forward to our customary radio manufacturer debate!
Weather looking good, so we are in for a good weekend.
The final Long Marston event of this year will be on September 7/8

So weathers going to be great!
Paul/Jo you are now commited, and so you will be there!
DW will bring enough aircraft to settle the national dept!
The Chairman will bring along his impeccable flying skills!
Ginge will arrive with attitude!
Roger K and I will discuss the finer points of Moto GP!
Big G will be there with passion, skill and some very nice models, and they will be displayed in a very scale fashion!
Jamie will bring along the JMA ATITUDE (a dedicated man)!
Dick is the foundation of all jet flying in the UK and would be there in soul even if couldn't make it!
Paul (AKA Animal), the biggest balls in RC JETS, will be there!
I will be there with the same old SH1T as usual!
In fact I think with that rare old thing the "SUN" it will be the only place to be this weekend!
Sorry for those who can't make it!
JMA RULES!
It is my birthday and as you have all guest I am nearly drunk!
I look forward to seeing you all and having a great time!
The COCK!

Jonny
Happy Birthday (60?)
Unfortunately the nice people from Ford have loaned me a van for a 7 day feedback/test. problem is its lacking about a meter on length, so I'm going to have to limit (or double stack) toys.
Tiss the fanciest van I have ever driven with electric pack, rear camera in the number plate (my 7 year old loves that!!) Cool box, 230v supply, electric leather seats (heated too-but won't test that in this weather!) Powerfolding mirrors...anyway lots of toys I'm still discovering.
Are we all UMX Mig-ing it again this year??
